As First Lady of Texas, Laura Bush promoted the Rainbow Room concept, and thanks to her leadership, there is now a Rainbow Room in every Texas county. The Rainbow Room of Rockwall County was established in 1999.
We are a working board of volunteers. We have no paid staff, no building expense, and very little operating expense, so that 98% of every dollar donated to us goes directly to the children.

She is working on her Masters at Dallas Theological Seminary and has previously worked in vocational ministry, but has recently begun to work with the four-legged darlings at JD Kennels in Royse City. She has been married 20 years, has three sons, and loves seeing the daily good the Rainbow Rooms pours into their own local community.
